I'm not going to generalize and talk trash about Onslaught based on one horrible leader, but I will say it looks very poorly on the guild. The respect they wish to have is unattainable now and far from reach. Many people lost respect for Onslaught recently after this event, and I really do feel sorry for the many good and honest members in the guild.
I was walking to the Edron boat via mapclick, and the ladder below the boat almost appeared on my screen when suddenly I was stunned to see 5 magic walls to my back and SDs flying. I died almost instantly. There were 10 or so Onslaught members ready and waiting for me to fly in there and hit the ground, and I did just that. What was the reason for this death? I will tell you.
Evil Puncker had me killed because of this phrase that is written in my "Quick History" blog post below. I wrote "Interestingly, during this time [2004], I was invited to macro in Desert Dungeon by several of Trimeras top leaders today. It is knowledge that will forever be in our minds, but never spoken. I think it's for the best."
In no way was that meant to offend anyone in Onslaught, I thought it was more of a confession than anything. If Onslaught leaders would've messaged me, it could've been fixed, but how was I to know that line would offend Evil Puncker? Did he feel guilty about certain past events? Did he not want information to be said? Did he WANT me to tell everyone that he was macroing in DD with me, 2 other Onslaught members, and a friend of mine? When you kill someone without warning over a sentence that was twisted around to make it into something it wasn't, you have a serious problem. The punishment did not fit the crime.
You could argue that I was obviously talking about Onslaught, but I actually was not. I was trying to convey the fact that I had cheated with people that are still significant players in Trimera today. May it be HA, ex-FS, Ons, or just other high level players that have earned the respect of the Trimera community. I love to write, so I use stories to illustrate my point that I had cheated once upon a time. My point was harshly mininterpreted as a threat or me "ratting" him out. However, if you notice I never used names or even tried to give hints as to who all was there. My friends don't have a bad reputation because we'll be honest and admit where we were wrong, it seems Evil Puncker has a little bit of a conscience issue. Maybe he's jealous that we never get accused of cheating when we did, and he can't escape the accusations. Whatever the reason for my death, he was extremely angry at that line in my blog, and acted in emotion instead of wisdom. He was cussing at mutual friends who were trying to calm him down after my death, and this is a Onslaught leader? The punishment of death for such a small "crime" (if you call it that) was horribly off-balance. It is very sad to see something like this happen on a once happy server.
Evil Puncker has used programs like MC, macro, and multiple bots that help gameplay and PvP. He was/is another angry cheater who is undeserving of his level and status. If you don't know about Evil Puncker's real life, you're not completely understanding everything. You see, Evil Puncker dropped out of school because of Tibia. He then got his whole family to play. Sadly, Tibia is his life. His few friends are either on Tibia, or non-existent. This is his sad, sad life. I honestly feel sorry for him.
Unlike a lot of people who play this game, Evil Puncker doesn't have the opportunity to have a fun and enjoyable real life. He lives in a fantasy 2D world where he spends all his real life money and time on Tibia. If he didn't play Tibia, what else would he have to live for? I don't want people to get mad at Evil Puncker, I want people to understand why he is the way he is and feel sorry for him. He's probably reading this and laughing, but someday he'll look back and realize he wasted so much of his life over something that isn't even tangible or real. Tibia is a great hobby and game, but when you become so obssessed by it, it becomes your God. Tibia is Evil Puncker's God. That is why I will not fret or worry about my death and being hunted. Do not let Tibia become your God; realize what is important in life and you will go far. Good luck in Tibia, and good luck in real life; yes, even you Evil Puncker :)
I enjoyed playing this game. I enjoyed the many conversations I had with people. I'm going to take a break from this game, my blog, and these forums and travel Europe for three weeks with my family. I will be in touch with my friends when I get back :)
Regards,
Cam

Only the Good Die Young
Unfortunately, I had a little bit too much to drink and still decided to go to Hydra Hell with Amun Thea. I figured Hydras were a relatively simple creature that I shouldn't have to worry about dying from. I was wrong. We were moving around the island with ease getting decent experience, but horrible loot, when all of the sudden my screen gets dark and I'm surrounded in a hole with 2 Water Elementals, a Quara Pincher and a Quara Mantassin I think. There might have been other creatures that I didn't see, as I died almost instantly. My reaction time wasn't quick enough, and Amun Thea wasn't on the screen to rope me up :(
When I died I was around 10% until level 90. It was my mistake and I paid for it. Every one dies, even the best players make mistakes. Usually I leave room for slight error, but unfortunately this time I was unable to recover from the drop in. No worries though. Amun and I went to Ancients Tomb and killed liches, necros, and banshees to try and get some quick experience back. That combined with Deep Fib and PoI DLs the next day helped me shoot past level 90 in less than 24 hours after dying at 89. The journey continues ...

Soloing Behemoths ... the legit way
Started the night bored and thought I should probably use up these runes I have laying around in my depot. I took a bp of stone shower (earth dmg area rune) and wanted to try its effectiveness against cycopolis. I would gather as many of the cycs as i could and use stone shower. It killed them pretty fast, but truthfully, it wasn't worth doing. The experience was fair at best, and the loot was ... well, it was cyc loot. I got to the bottom of the cycopolis and realized I had 2/3 a bp of icicles on me, and I had been planning to try my behemoth running strategy here in the next 5-10 levels. I thought, why not try now? So, I went down into the normal south behemoth stairs, used haste and put a wild growth as a 4-square extension for which I would run them. Because doing it with mana shield is a waste and hardly soloing, I of course met the challenge with my 88 Elder Druid. I lured the Behemoth and put down the wild growth, and ran it around while shooting icicles. Even with my low magic level (62), the behemoth fell with ease. First behemoth loot was 1 assassin star and 1 behemoth fang. Next 3 behemoths were done the same way with a little more trouble, but regardless, it was definitely an adventure and a rush. I did have to reapply the wild growth every behemoth midfight, which is a little tricky, but I'm sure more levels and better equipment will make that hunting style extremely efficient. That's another great solo spot to add to my arsenal!

Pictures and Screenshots Coming Soon!
I hope to include screenshots that can show some helpful tips when hunting on your Mage. I push the limits as to what my character can do every time I hunt, that's how I get better. I hope to show you what all I can do with only a 88 Elder Druid. Level does not always represent skill, and I'm hoping to display that this statement is fully true. I'll add some screenshots later tonight for your enjoyment. :)
This past week ...
Since I work 8 hours/day, and hang with my girlfriend and the guys during the evening, I don't have a whole of time to play lately. However, I have been making the most of it when I'm on by making sure I'm hunting and having fun.
Djinn Tower:
I've been gathering blue cloths for my friend Guerreiro Revoltado lately so he could complete the oriental outfit along with his full brotherhood outfit, wizard outfit, etc. The other day I looted 8 blue cloths in a little more than 2 hours at the djinn tower. When sold 3k a piece, it's no wonder I profit here. Also, I've been hoarding up small sapphires that drop there, and I realized I could get 25K per 100 small sapphires to the NPC, which is another source of income at djinns considering they drop quite a few. Yes, I'm green djinn, so I annihilate blue djinns. :) If you're going to hunt here as a Mage, the Magma Set will save you a TON! I don't have the complete set, but I wear some when hunting djinns. All you need to profit at djinns as a mage is a little bit of fire protection, frigo, m-wall, dwarven rings, and some avalanche runes for over-lured suprises. With this, you won't need mana shield if you're of sufficient level (80+ for skilled players, 90-95+ for intermediate). Let the good times roll. Contrary to popular belieft, its not that great of experience. Djinns are low hp/high attack creatures, and do a bit of dmg for giving relatively low experience.
Demona:
Several nights ago I was hunting Demona with Lord Knight of Demons via explosions and sioing while he only uses melee. I had been to demona quite often pre-xmas update sioing friends before shared experience and it was a lot more economical then; though, I didn't get exp then. We looted only 3 skull staffs & 2 Holy Orchids in almost 2 hours of being there. The experience was great for both of us though averaging around 90k/hr late at night when spawn was indeed a bit slow. I got level 88 during that time.
Hero Cave + Demon:
Dooms was running the Hero cave the other night -> 3x, main 1x, 1x w/ pries, and 2x wlc spawn, and I took it when he finished. I had never realized how annyoning the magician and apprentices were when I was running from spawn to spawn! I had a blast running around killing 3 spawns of heroes, though trash made it rather annoying, which is why I cut out the main 1x in my run. I was bored so I decided to stair-hop a couple demons. To my suprise I did it rather cheaply. 7 runes of SD, and not even 2 bps of strong mana potions. I estimated about 5k costs per demon. Trying to get 100 in a bit here to camp demon hell sometime and try my luck. Compared to the old days, 5K expenses per demon is nothing!

Quick History
This is my first post at my attempt on a blog documenting my tales and times in Tibia mainly on my Elder Druid Reprisal located on the Trimera Server, but to start off I would like to start a brief overview of my Tibia career from start to the present.
This is my blog, and its my way of sharing ALL of the events. I will try and not be too boastful about events, but I will definitely state my mind about Trimeran society and other such things.
The Beginning:
I started Tibia when my two real life friends Tim (Dooms Slayer) and Ben (Funky Prophet) started this 2D game in the late spring/summer of 2003. They also convinced Tim (Amun Thea), Mike (Spritzerx), and Joel (Polarism) to start playing as well. Grant (Dorite) started to play after hearing us talk about the game one day. My character never got above level 20, and I think I was killed in swamp trolls every other day. Usually I'd train and make runes south of Venore talking to Euler Ruler and anyone else that would come fish with me, but not much is to be said about this character. I'm not going to go into Trimeran history, but I'd say it was definitely some great times to be an average Trimeran spectator. After the huge hack into CIP, the servers went down and everyone was e-mailed new passwords. I quit after this for over a year, but then played again in Trimera sometime in 2004. I joined my real life friends in Sacred Warriors of Fury, a guild started in mid 2003 by The Merciful and later handed to Dooms Slayer who still runs it to this day. I was a vice in this guild among with players like Xanelas, Deepd, and Fatal Zio. Interestingly, during this time, I was invited to macro in Desert Dungeon by several of Trimeras top leaders today. It is knowledge that will forever be in our minds, but never spoken. I think it's for the best.
Mytheran Times:
For some reason, I quit Trimera and picked up in Mythera when it began sometime in the summer of 2005 with my good friend Tim (Amun Thea). Powergamers, and the sharers were large in number on this server. We created and led a guild (Black Rose) that was arguably top 3 in Mythera. The top two guilds contained many more powergamers, so we couldn't compete with them. Tim and I ruined all reputation we could ever have had on Mythera, so we disbanded the guild and quit forever. I still feel bad to this day abandoning our guild members considering they went to war several months later against the top players in the server, but it was something we had to do. I will forever remeber those members I was closest to. On Mythera I owned one of the Dream Street houses which I world traded for 16 bps of SD and 20 or so bps of explo for Trimera. I got hacked with a keylogger in fall of 2005. Both characters were stolen completely, and I didn't care enough to do the whole send into CIP thing. Tim/Amun and I had over 500K stolen from Tims house. The 500K+ in that time was a LOT of money.
Reprisal:
After all of that in summer of 2005, I quit Tibia completely for a solid couple months. I watched Tim/Dooms play one night, and I was interested again. I decided, why not pick up and start on an account I already had. I leveled her easily. Tim/Amun and I figured out a way to hunt Dragon Lords in Venore Dragon Lair very effectively in the mid 40's. This unique sort of tactic was rare in that time and helped us loot our very first Royal Helmet that he still wears upon his head to this day. I hunted Tombs and such in 2006 before Tim/Amun started a guild called Divine Disciples and we co-led that for a couple months. I developed several very good tibia friends that I was leveling with from lvl 10 to 65+ like Elitesaver, Kraeckin, Tabelus Son/Ge, Ston Kator, Master of Damage/Aeros, and a few others that I would have given my life for. I'm still close to almost all of them to this day.
Reprisal 60-80 & Viceslayer 0-63:
I leveled quite fast when I had a chance to play, and I started soloing heroes with mort around 65 when Rick/Lady Profits mentored me for a bit and showed me how to do it effectively. This was before most people knew about mid-level mages morting heroes for profit. I also camped Venore draggy lair and learned how to solo a dl without mana shield and vis in the 60's. I learned a great deal from him and from Lord Bicycle about being a mage. I quit for 9 months at around level 78 due to deaths and school. I moved to playing World of Warcraft, and quickly got lvl 70 and began to raid in a hardcore raiding guild and ripped through T4 content with ease. By June of 2007 we were running through T5 Content in SSC/TK, but it took up way too much time, and although I was one of the premiere Mages on the server, it wasn't worth my real life time, so I quit in July and took a couple month break from games. I started back with my level 78 druid and didn't feel satisfied, so I started a paladin "Viceslayer." I leveled and slightly trained from October 2007 until the christmas update. I got to level 63 when the christmas update came out, and I had to give my level 78 Elder Druid a shot again.
Level 80-present:
I leveled from 80-88 in 2 weeks or so with a couple deaths in between from kicks. This was the time that all the kicks were still happening with the dos attacks. I died twice @ level 88 in djinn tower, once without blessings, and was at the beginning of level of 86. This was January 13th 2008, my last login until May 12th of 2008. I learned so much during those 2-3 weeks of playing and exploring my newly reborn character. My skills as a Mage were being polished. I renewed my premmy on May12th, and since then, I'm trying to continue to improve my game and get back into the swing of things.
